I will look at the owners hand book section 10 page 14 says to find a scale to weigh the curb weight of your car and look at the drivers door jamb for gross car weight. Subtract curb from gross and there you have it. Because the Sentra is a small car I would be very careful driving with any more than 800 pounds passengers and cargo. Make sure your tires are in good shape and inflated to specs. (33 psi cold). While moving to my new house with a 1999 sentra full to the roof with boxes of books (way overloaded) the car just could not stop very well. Heavy cars equal greater stopping distances. Good Luck
If only in the trunk, I wouldn't put an extreme amount of wait that'll be sitting in one spot. The board that covers your donut tire is bad to cave in and break under extreme weight.
