hi... she is about 5 years old and wont eat very much at breakfast or dinner, only about a heaped teaspoon for each meal. We have tried lots of different brands of food but she doesn't seem to take preference to any particular food. We leave out dry food on supply all day but it doesn't seem to do anything. I would like to know if there is any special food or something that might help make her a bit fatter, as she only weighs half to 1 kilo. We cant feed her cream or any other super milky stuff because she has a very weak stomach and will throw up anything that is not cat food or meaty stuff. It would be helpful for some options other than going to a vet because thats really quite expensive but if you think its something really serious please say what it is. We are going to worm her tomorrow because we have run out of worming tablets. Also she is an indoor cat and her breed is ragdoll, but she is small for a ragdoll cat anyway

It sounds like you have tried a variety of ways to entice your cat to eat. Because you have done that without a remedy a vet would really be the best option. She may have something going on that you won't be able to help her with without a diagnosis. Many vets will allow a payment plan that can make things less of financial strain. Wishing you luck with your kitty!
If you add something particularily sweet to the food she should eat it,cats love grated cheese..Why not try grating a tiny bit of cheese on?It wont do anything to her stomache and it will probably give her the appetite back to eat it slowly.
You can also buy her some slightly 'posher' meat such as gourmet cat food although it is quite rich and may make her more ill.
Worming may have something to do with it,she could have a worm or so which could be making her feel bloated or cause her to lose appetite.
If she doesn't improve after a week,see a vet!
A lot of people think their cats are skinny when they are actually a healthy weight. If you can feel her ribs under a thin layer of fat, but can't see them she is probably a healthy weight. Besides, now that she was spayed her metabolism will slow and she'll put on weight or eat less. Cats should be sleek, not round.
one of my cats only eats whiskas purrfectly fish, only, not even any kind of dry food at all,but she loves to eat frieds, chips, crackers.,she is 4 years old, we want her to be health. we tried about any brand cat food but she didn't like. There is only 4 flavor for her to eat , sometimes she is tried of them and won't eat at all. so we have to put some mashed crackers or chips to mixed with her food, so her taste buttons can start to work. NOw we find she loves to eat pork skin, so we put some sparkle on top of food. she is inside cat and don't like play , we don't want her gettting fat so,just once a day.And also she has pooop problem,so we put tsb benefiber every morning to help her. Some time she felt bad, and don't eat at all, we leash her and walk her outside, and make her happy and hungry, and she can eat a whole bag at one time.
but i suggest that you should take your cat to doctor to see she has some worms first.
Treat her for tape worm, not just round worm. Feed Blue Buffalo Wilderness, made to put weight on skinny cats. Very healthy and balanced and they love it.
I would give her a good brand of cat food, like purina indoor cats delight...then mix it with soft food...dont keep her on soft food long though it may rot teeth...just do it once in awhile.
