Do anyone know if the laptop named above is a great laptop? On HP I read ALL the reviews so as in Best Buy. Do anyone personally have or had one if so can you give me the pros n cons? I also looked at ALL the videos (that I know of it) on Youtube. If you all see any links that you'll think that will be helpful, post them.

I have/use a TX2z.
The pros are that it is small and lighter than most laptops (although not as light as a tablet, which is in a different category). The resolution is decent given the smaller screen. And you get the "wow" factor when you show the touch screen capability to others. Get a screen protector (clear lining that tapes to your LCD) before you start tapping away on your screen- or you'll be wiping fingerprints off every time.
The cons are several, and significant in my opnion. First off the fan is "always on". This means that while running on battery you only have about an hour before you have to plug back into the wall. Given it's supposed to be a portable the short battery life is rather irritating.
Secondly this laptop runs HOT, despite the fan always running. I didn't know this at first and put it in my lap while wearing shorts- OUCH!!! I'm not going to make the same mistake again- I assure you. You might want to get a chill mat if it's going to be sitting in one place for a long time (i.e. on top of your desk)- it's so hot I could easily see it warping or discoloring a furniture surface after repeated use.
Lastly in order to take full use of the 4 GB of RAM you'll have to run MS Vista 64bit version, at least until Win 7 gets released in October. Depending on what you are planning to do this may or may not conflict with some of your software programs, which I assume are mostly going to be 32bit.
Overall, decent laptop but it's difficult to justify the expensive price if you're just using it for MS Office and mundane tasks.
Its nice, it has touch capability, and probably has a decent amount of power, but its pretty ugly - covered in shiny plasticy things and tacky designs. If you don't care about what your laptop looks like... then by all means buy this.
But remember it is an HP so it'll probably only last you.. around 2 years. And also, if you're going to buy a laptop, i'd wait till windows 7 comes out (in the fall) because its a huge improvement from vista.
If you have specs for what kind of laptop you want... you can email me and it'd be easy to find one.
im a computer wizzzz and i have no idea what u are talking about
