i dont get wat u mean when u say for ex bt oh well..... to solve the problem u should multiply everything by 5 to get the fractions outta the way so u end up with 5+3(5q-20)=2(5q+5) then u do distributive property with the 3 and the 2 and u get 5+15q-60=10q+10, then combine like terms and get 15q-55=10q+10 then add 55 to each side 15q=10q+65 then subtract 10q from each side. 5q=65 and divide each side by 5 and u should end up with q=13

1+ 3/5(Q-4)=2/5(Q+1)

= 1+ (3Q-12)/5 = (2Q+2)/5

= 5+3Q-12 = 2Q+2

3Q-2Q = 2+12-5

Q=9
