well how much is it worth its in great condition and its an epic record. if i should sell it would it b more valuable now or later? thnx p.s i dont think ill get rid of it cuz i likey mj rip mj!
Probably not worth much. Extremely old and rare records, in good condition can be worth a lot of money to collectors. But 35 year old albums by popular artists aren't going to get you much more than a few bucks. Sorry.
(Oh, and when searching remember that the group was called the Jackson 5, not the Michael Jackson 5. And, come to think of it, if it's on Epic [as opposed to Motown] it's probably the Jacksons - not the Jackson 5.)
I have all of the Jackson 5 albums, all of Michael's solo albums, all of the 45 singles, Jermaine's albums, Rebbie's albums and magazines featuring them (Rock & Soul, Bop, Teen Beat) that are out of print. I have belts, books, buttons. I haven't posted them on Ebay because I was told the value is not much. I've Kept them for 36 years. I guess I can keep them a little longer. They went from Motown (J-5) to Epic (Jacksons) to Sony (Michael-solo)
You have to take into consideration that nothing of his is really rare...gotta be a ton of other fans with one. If it's an Epic label, then it's most likely from the 80s which is still relatively new...now if it were from back in the 60s and had an unknown label, then you might have something.
Vinyl isn't worth a lot at the minute. If people want the music badly, they usually just download it. Hold on to it for a while - it might become a collectors item in a few years time.
i looked on ebay and it actually isnt worth that much unless unopened. look at other records at compare bidding prices. also there are sights that say what the records running price should be.

Still, it's worth looking it up on eBay to see what other people are asking for it. Also check for it here: http://www.recordcollectorsguild.org/
