So after I am lying down or sitting for a while and stand up fast I get really dizzy, my vision starts turning black and a couple times have had to sit back down so I don't fall over. I'm a pretty healthy 15 year old girl. There has Possibly been history of low blood pressure in my family (Not completely sure), which I've heard might be the problem but I don't understand that sort of health stuff. Why does this happen and how do I make it stop occurring so often???

The technical term is Postural Hypo-tension, commonly known as "head rush". It is a result of a sudden drop in blood pressure due to quickly changing your posture (positioning).
Try to remember this happens and move more slowly when changing position.
Hope this helps.
Good luck and best wishes.
I have the same thing and also when light juts my eyes everythong turns black and I feel dizzy and I end up falling then once I fall eveything goes back to how it was and yes its becuase you need water or you just need to wait a little or stand up slower.
This happens to me alot very often.you are sitting on your bottom you're not standing up so when you get up your body reacts like dizzy and you see black a little.your body is so used to laying down and not standing up.so you need to get used to standing up.u dnt have to worry about anything nothing is wrong with you:) hoped that helped:)
Happens to me and all my friends too, im also 15. Just try and get up slower I guess, but sometimes it still happens. Maybe see a doctor if it gets worse, I occasionally completely black out =P
That happen cuz when you stand ip fast all the blood on your head gets pushed down into your chest therefore you feel light headed.
oh my godd i have this too! it started a few years ago and i actually fell. i have no idea what it is but i searched it and it said it possibly happened because i hadnt eaten anything that day, but its been happeneding ever since. i dont know what to say, other than ask your doctor. good luck :)
happens to every one this is due to gravity your heart is resting so when you stand up the blood doesn't travel were it needs to so then you feel dizzy and it will cause your heart to work harder
