According to my BMI, the minimum safe weight I can be is 45 kg. I know 45 is a small number but I am a very small person, with a short height. So yeah, honestly speaking, 45 is safe for me. Also, I just turned 20.
My current weight is 48 or 49 kg and looking a little chubby. I want to be skinny. So would it be dangerous if I lost 8 or 9 kg to get upto 40 kg. I won't go on a crash diet, I will only lose one kg each week. Also, I will make sure to have a balanced diet. I will just eliminate the junk food, over eating, bad eating habits like eating before bed.
I was thinking to exercise every alternative day like cardio... I still want to do yoga every morning cos it keeps me happy and relaxed lol...
Will it still be dangerous to be 5 kg underweight. Cos I have heard that u can get arthritis, heart problems... In your old age if you are too skinny when you are young.
Thanks for ur advice guys :-)
Cheers,
Princess :-)

Trust me, the last 5kg You lose makes alot more of a difference than You think. At 45kg, You'll look pretty thin, which isn't very attractive. Average weight to 5kg overweight is far more attractive than 5kg underweight. And being underweight can be more dangerous than being overweight
Why do you not just go down to 45kgs? Yes it is dangerous to be any amount underweight- just like it is to be overweight. You can really damage your bones by being so much underweight- if you lower your bone density to much its really hard to get back and that means you will be an old lady who is always breaking her bones and you may end up needing hip/knee/joint replacements.
Its always better to be healthy then to be under/over weight.
"Feminine tastes for supersized meals"??? Hello!!! Men are increasing their "girth" as well. I suppose you are blaming women for that, too? Wouldn't it make more sense to blame the fast-food industry as well as the changing times for obesity? Less people have time to eat meals at home, and less time to plan "nutritious" meals and cook them...with the economy being what it is, almost everyone has to work. Being away from home and working all the time results in less time being at home to worry about home-cooked meals. Even the food you buy in grocery stores is really not that nutritious. You can't blame women for that. Most people would agree that obesity is not healthy, that it can and does often result in a variety of different illnesses, some of which are fatal. Obesity, however, is not an exclusively "female" issue. I also think that having a healthy image is referring to what's going on inside the person- that being heavy doesn't have to mean you have to feel bad about WHO you are.
