Michelle Obama lobbied for Mars Candy to sign her "Healthier America" agreement so that king sized candy bars can no longer be sold. Seriously? There are so many other important things to worry about and she is worrying about the size of candy bars??
Tell me, do any of you have the self control to buy smaller candies if you think the big ones are too much to eat for you? Are you a strong enough parent to control what your child eats? Do you really need Michelle Obama to tell you what you can and cannot have?
I personally like to have a king sized candy when I go see a movie. Not too often, but I still prefer it.
Michelle Obama is taking away our right to choose for ourselves what we want to eat. That is not right.

She doesn't have the right to tell people what they can and can't eat; no one else does either. It's personal choice, if she did that leans more towards communism than anything else. She tried this with different restaurants around the US demanding that they serve lower calorie meals. Their reaction, create bigger meals with more calories. You NEVER saw former first-lady Laura Bush do anything like this, she was cool.

Quite idiotic, when you consider, our tax dollars pay for food stamps that can buy any sort of junk food at the grocery store. Look at the statistics of obese in our country, and you'll see for yourself that a high percentage of the obese are on food stamps. How about we limit food stamp purchase to "fresh" ingredients only, why then, you would certainly hear a roar and a scream that "poor folk" were being denied!
Why she bothering the size of bars is going down not notice that that tin of Roses at Christmas was not one kilo but 750 grams
The government is being an idiot.
She is doing what is right for the country. If you haven't looked into statistics, a large majority of Americans are obese. Many Americans don't see the consequences of having too much of something, which paints a poor picture for other countries who use to look up to us. America needs some restraint, I'm not saying total restraint, just a little. You won't die from not eating a jumbo size candy bar, in fact you'll save some change on something more useful than candy you don't need.
Obesity is a very serious problem and she is leaving the running of the country up to the government. However, she is encourageing children to eat right and exercise. I don't that that is making her an idiot.
