I will be departing Toronto at the Toronto Coach Terminal at 11:59 PM and I want to hang around the square before I leave. Is it safe at that time of the day? I haven't been to Toronto in 10 years so I am a little nervous. lol. Thanks!
Update:I am from New York and live in the projects. So I am very smart with my personal surroundings.

Yeah, it's safe at that time of day. Make sure you stay on the main streets (obviously) and don't go down some sketchy side road. I've been there plenty of times late at night and it isn't a place to be worried about. Especially if you're smart with your personal surroundings. If it's on a weekend, then you'll probably see a bunch of drunk people but they are just loud and rowdy and they aren't harmful or anything. :)
The largest motel in Canada is the Delta Chelsea. It can be correct downtown on Gerrard between Yonge and Bay. It's very smooth and safe. The rooms are best. You should be equipped to search out anything there for about $one hundred per night. Also within the same neighbourhood, on Carleton street is Days resort and convention Centre. The rooms are fairly small. However, they're normally available in the $eighty five - $a hundred variety. For something with a little more personality you'd need to spend $100 - $a hundred and fifty per night time. Try the Clarion on Sherbourne road (somewhat out of the way in which, but inside a 5 minute stroll of the subway) or the Bond location on Dundas, just east of Yonge. Experience Toronto! It is a first-rate location to visit. But, i'm blissful i do not reside right here. It's dangerous ample driving in every day to work.
You're kidding, right?
Canada's the 4th safest nation on Earth. (Go look up our Global Peace Index ranking.)
As for Toronto:
"Toronto is among five Canadian cities that dominate North America’s personal safety ranking. Tied with Vancouver, Montreal, Ottawa, and Calgary, Toronto is considered the 17th safest place in the world, more than 35 times safer than its closest American counterparts..."
