I've been on unemployment in maryland 2 months and still cant find a job. I want to enroll in a trade school full time for 11 months so I can be more marketable to get a job. Will i still be able to collect unemployment while in school. The whole reason im going back to school is to get a job and in the long run that's what the government wants right?
My school is going to be monday- thursday 730am til 330pm. and im still going to fill out my 2 apps per week if need be

You should speak with someone from your local unemployment office. You may be exempt from the regular work search requirements if you are in a training program approved by the agency. The best way of knowing for sure is to contact the appropriate agency that handles unemployment in your state and ask them for a confirmation that you can still get benefits if you are attending a school or university or any other form of education. They will let you know if you are eligible to collect benefits in your situation.
No you cannot. To qualify for unemployment you must actively seek work and be willing and able to accept a full time job. Attending school makes it impossible for you do fulfill the requirements. You can lie and continue to collect but when caught you will be charged with Fraud and Theft plus mandated to make full restitution. Who would hire you with that on your record
What does your skill business company might desire to appreciate approximately your unemployment historic previous? It seems such as you opt to deliver together unemployment on an identical time as working. I dont think of you skill business company will see something. and amassing on an identical time as working is undesirable. dont do it.
