Hi. I had just purchased a new computer. Please someone tell me what I need to install to input Japanese language? I used to installed Global IME (Japanese) from Microsoft.com. By the way, I have office XP on my new computer.
Thanks!

If you have Vista Ultimate, try getting MUI by following the instructions here.

If not, then I don't think you can get Japanese.
This website has a list of all language packs.
Maybe Japanese will be added to the list in the future.

You need to run Windows Update. You can do this by going to "Start" -> "Control Panel" -> and under the Security section, click "Check For Updates".
You should now see a screen mentioning what are called "Optional Updates". Click "View Available Updates" for the optional updates, then tick the box next to the update called "Japanese Language Pack" and click "install" at the bottom-right side of the screen.
Windows will now download and install the language pack and you will have to restart your computer.
i've got faith domicile windows replace has some language updates accessible yet vista could desire to be waiting to alter the language interior the language settings. start up>administration panel>close by and Language settings>Keyboards and Languages>deploy/uninstall Languages>deploy Languages.
