I live in Pittsburg, Ca (Mount Diablo Unified School District) and I am inrolling my son in school but I have a problem....I am renting a room until I finish with school and for his school they need(2) proof of address but nothing is in my name since I'm renting a room, anyone with any experience with this, will the school except him...whats the process?

To me it sounds like a public school. A proof of address if basically a utility bill. Bring 2 utility bills or a monthly statement from the guy you rent it froml. Also the registration for kindergarden can be the most daunting because your child is just entering the system, so they need basically everything. Shot records, previous experience (if any aka preschool), address's, contact info, medical records, clinic cards, etc.
My reccomendation would be to meet with a school adminitration, be it princible or guidence officer to explain your situation and ask for a simple exception politly. Im sure they will understand and make the situation work out.

I agree that you should call the school for specifics in what they will accept as proof of residence. A letter from the manager where you rent can supply the reference.
