I have two 11-week-old kittens who often play around and wrestle with one another. After one such instance about four days, I noticed that in one of the kitten’s, his left eye was a little watery and he was closing it. It seemed to clear up and he was fine. Since then, however, I have noticed it is getting watery again with yellowish discharge. I took him to the vet yesterday, who said that yes it looks like he maybe got a little scratch, but the vet sent me home saying that unless it gets worse, I shouldn’t worry. How long do I wait? My kitten is still active and eating... What should I do? Will it pass?

If it gets too yucky you can swab it with a very mild saline solution, just be very gentle so as not to aggravate it more. It will clear up pretty quickly.
my cat has had similar problems for years! although it happened regurly, not just after playing, i ignored it. since then my cat has gone, not fully, but mildly cross eyed... so i definitely wouldnt wait as long as i did.. anyway the answer was simply a type of cat conjunctivitous. (i hope thats spelled right..) anyway, all it takes is some prescriptions, but if that's not your cat's diagnosis, i'd just remember to thoroughly clean the area to prevent spreading, and kill any possible bacteria.
Take it to the vet! What are you sittin' around for. She could be sick! Eye discharge is a common sign of a disease! Hurry!
Awwwwww........ poor baby, but i think it should be fine if you took it to the vet.
