leopard geckos check list?
ok here is my check list for my leopard gecko so far i wanna no what im leaving out.
1).10 gallon tank. (that i all ready have)
2).heating lamp 50 to 75 wattage.
3). cool hide + warm hide.
4) food water and calcium dishes.
5).screen top.
6). artificial plants.
7). thermostats.
8).reptile carpet.
9). and the leopard gecko of coarse.
I wanna know what i am leaving out or what i dont need. In the future im hoping on breading them. so plz tell me every thing i need. Thank You All!!!!!! Oh yea of corse i will have food lol so dont be smart lol thank you again!!

Since the basking spot should be at 90 degrees F, get a cheap adhesive thermometer and stick it on the bottom of the inside of the tank right above where the lamp will be. This way you can tell exactly how hot the basking spot is, not just the air temperature.

your doing pretty good right now. all i can think of is a heat pad on 1 side of the tank cause it's best not to leave the heat lamp all night since geckos are nocturnal.

That sounds perfect but i dont think you need a divider :/ I have 2 leos and they are in a 100 gallon tank XD
mmm seems like your gecko will be happy in that perfect cage setup good job
a moist hide would also be good for when it is shedding
