I have lump in my left arm pit that is sore. It hurts when I put on deodorant. It's been there for about a week. I'm afraid it is a tumor or cancerous. I'm going to see a doctor ASAP.
Anyone experience anything like this or know what it might be. According to my internet searches it is most likely a bacterial infection. Still want to get it checked out.
The pain and soreness has also move down into my left bicep if that helps.

Ingrown hair, blocked sweat gland, infected sebaceous cyst ir a simple zit are the nost likely things if it is near the surface, a warm compres may help.
If it is deeper it may be a swollen lymph node. Generally a sign your body is fighting some sort of mild illness or infection.
It's not cancer. It's likely a cyst or infected hair follicle.
Abscess is the most likely verdict. Check you other glands...if they are not swollen...you are most likely fine.
