Every since about 5-9 months ago, I started to get a feeling underneath my armpit. It was unnoticeable at first, but over time, every time I stretch out my arm or put it down, my armpit hurts and I can feel the lump. I was getting dressed and was about to wear my shirt when I was able to see the outline of the lump for the first time. I'm not sure what this is, and I would be glad for any insight. I have gotten these all my life and I'm 59 so theres 99.9% chance of nothing to worry over!! There usually either an ingrown hair or a small cyst that can actually get pretty infected and then you've really got problems! I had to take sits baths with really hot water and keep a hot as you can handle and it always comes to a head then pops and one time man did it stink! Infection, but I sure felt a lot better and the Dr. just let it ride! Now I'm a male so I have no idea whats going on with a woman if she got onr in thr general proxinity!
