There were maggots in the top of my trash can so we immediately took it out. Although we took out the trash and cleaned out the trash cover with hot water it seemed like some maggots escaped to the ground. Some took shelter inside cracks that we have in our wall while others are roaming the kitchen floor just sitting there. I'm afraid that the maggots that escaped into the wall will come back with more. Unfortunately there is nothing i can do at the moment since my mother left for her job. I was wondering if there is anything i can do to hold the maggots from coming back into the kitchen or possibly eliminate them all at once.Thanks.
Update:Also, my kitchen has two small carpets and from what i have been reading on yahoo answer, it seems like they like to take refuge in them should i ask my mom to throw the carpets away?
Also my mom touched a maggot to get it of the trash can cover, i may be being overly cautious but should i be worried about my mom.
Lastly i tried stomping on them but it didn't seem to work, is there anyway i can stomp them out?
