I am playing a game on ventrillo and when ever i press my push to talk button at the same time as some one else on ventrillo which happens often and they start talking all the sound they make through my speakers plays back to all of them and through them back to my self...so you can see how this can be annoying and confusing. what I would like to do is find the thing that makes it so whatever sounds my speaker makes my microphone wont pick up.. this may sound ridiculous but widows xp has it and windows 7 has it But i cant find it on vista...if you know please share it with me if your not sure plz dont say "probably not because vista Sucks" unless you know for a fact that vista does not have this abillity

Wearing headphones will eliminate this problem, because there will be no sound from your speakers. Perhaps your XP or 7 system was set correctly......mute speakers when headphones are detected.
A noise cancelling microphone will also do the trick.
A normal microphone will pick up any sound it hears, and there is no way to program this type of microphone to not pick up what is coming out of the speakers, and pick up everything else, like your voice.
First, what form of sound do you recommend? your guy or woman voice? or a intense-tone beep sound? To mute any sound cought via the mic. a million.circulate to "commence" >> "administration Panel" >> ""Sounds and Audio gadgets", on tab "quantity" decide for "superior.." 2. See no remember if "microphone" quantity is displayed, if no longer, decide for menu "innovations" >> "residences" and consider the container "Microphone" 3. The Microphone quantity ought to be seen now. examine "Mute" below the quantity slidebar of the microphone. If the sound you meant is a intense-tone beep sound, attempt to maintain your microphone faraway from the speaker. wish this helps.
