ok, so i have been liking this boy for a long time and he knows it. he liked me too. we were going to go to the middle school dance together. but one day i hear that he is going with this other girl. so right now i am ticked off. well this other boy says he likes me. i don't really like him as a boyfriend. i like him as a friend. we were playing truth of dare at school and they asked me if i liked him. i lied and i said i did. after i broke up with the boy that is going with the other girl, i have kinda started liking this boy named sam. but i don't want to break the boy's heart that said he liked me. but i don't like him. i would rather go to the dance with sam. i don't want to go to the dance alone. what should i do?
i would also like tips on how to someway get the boy who went with the other girl back. i know he might sound mean, but i still have feelings for him. could i also get tips for asking sam out to the dance?

This may sound kinda cheesy but follow your heart , just tell the boy who likes you where he stands , he may take it well or he may not , but atleast you wont have to worry about it anymore and you can just enjoy yourself at the dance . Even though if middle school relationships are kinda pointless , i do believe in them as its all about fun when your a kid so you can mess around and have fun in them as when your older you will find relationships get more ans more serious . Basically , go with the guy you like , the other guy will move on , and if you really feel that bad , hook him up with one of your friends so he wont be alone :)
