Minecraft Glitch! Help Meh!?
Whenever I try to open minecraft, it comes up at updating complete, and it freezes. I downloaded mods today and yesterday. Here's what I did.
- I put all of my mods in the mod loader.
- I downloaded forge, didn't put it in my mod loader.
- Some of my other mods are outside in the minecraft.jar
Update:Thanks mate! I just force updated my minecraft anyway. That might even be the last time I'm downloading a mod.

Have you deleted your META-INF folder? That is a folder that keeps Minecraft updated with it's content, breaking the game if mods are installed to keep it's original content.
Another problem is that some mods aren't compatible with each-other. If two mods share or overlap the same files, they might conflict and your Minecraft might crash. Check for compatible mods.
Make sure to open the minecraft.jar folder with WinRAR, 7zip, etc.
To clear your minecraft.jar completely, on the Minecraft launcher, before logging in, click Options, then Force Update. Minecraft will clear your minecraft.jar, and reset it's original content. Then, add the modded files.

What ya gotta do if first, force update minecraft, this will reset it to vanilla settings. The go to run type in %appdata% go to .minecraft>bin>right-click minecraft.jar and select "Open with WinRar (or 7-Zip)> Delete META-INF> re-install your mods
There is also the possibiltiy that your mods overlap eachother and have the same content, in which case you choose one mod or the other
