So here is what im wondering.
Knowing that 64 bit operating systems can use more than 2 GB of ram (I have 4) and that I have a 64-bit CPU, would it be better to use Win 7 64 bit or stay with my 32-bit Win XP?
My laptop specs:
Processor: Dual-core AMD Fusion E-450 @1.7GHz(1.65)
Graphics: Integrated AMD Radeon HD6320
HDD: 500GB SATA3 5200rpm
RAM: 4GB DDR3 @678MHz
Now I would mainly play Minecraft but from time to time I like to play CoD4, BF2, GTA SA and games like that. What i'm worried about is that those are old games and I don't know will they run at all on 64-bit OS.
I wanted to switch to 64-bit Win 7 to get use of all 4 gigs of ram but I was skeptic about it so I came here for advice.

I would immediately say just go with the Win 7. It is much better and you automatically get 2 more GB from that RAM so you might as well just do it. Win 7 doesn't require that much processing power either way.
Windows 7 x64 bit is the choice.
