Monitor image distorted around sides?
My monitor recently started making a pop noise and getting dots on the screen. Then it would randomly become stretched sideways, then pop back to normal. Now, it fits my screen, but the sides are squished, almost like the monitor is displaying at an oval

Try monitor on another computer with another cable an see if it still doing it. If so is it under warranty?
Try another monitor on your computer and see if it also gets the problem if so then graphics card needs replacing
