1. A woman's witness is worth less than that of a man
2. I forget what I was gonna type here but you get my point.
Update:@GlamGurl The difference between the West and Islam is that in the West, Domestic Abuse is almost 100% denounced; in Islam there is debate as to what the role of women and their witness is.

We're not "2nd class citizens" there are just certain scenarios which require more witnesses.
It takes 4 men to accuse 1 woman of adultery/fornication.
So in this scenario, a man's word is 1/4 that of a woman's.
Does that make Muslim men 2nd class citizens?
As far as being happy goes, yes we're very happy with Islam.
I'm not a Muslim woman but I do empathize with them. There are many Muslim women who live in developed countries are not "second class citizen". I honestly don't like that you would refer to them as such since most of the time, they can not control their situation. Nobody likes being beaten and treated so lowly but instead of writing on Y! Answers, why don't you go help? It's sad to think that you would think that they chose this for themselves.
Plus many women dedicate much time and effort to better the situation of fellow women in their country. And some do reach high ranks such as Benezir Bhutto and become world renowned. Watch The Stoning of Soraya M. and do some research as many of these women are oppressed by conservative men who view them as a threat and bully the weaker sex into submission. And this is not just Muslim women, but many Hindu and Christian women as well. Domestic abuse occurs in US too, would you call these women "second class citizen"?
I am not a Muslim woman, but I know that naturally, women are weaker than men. In the Middle-east, men suppress women through physical force and jailing. No, they are probably not happy with this.
