I live in the US and my boyfriend, who moved here from Russia 1 year ago, continues to wear the underwear he's accustomed to. So you can have an idea of what's going on, they're all tighty whities-style and the funniest pair is dark blue with gold glittery stars on it. I've tried hinting about how ridiculous and not American they look but to no avail. He continues to call them his "sexy underwear".
