Okay well not really. But that is what the guys at 'warranty' said. Because some sticker was pink? o.0 okay anyway!
The phone turns on, and the keyboard works... my touch screen is not working though. It is frozen like I am not touching it. But if I push the 'lock' button that locks the phone. Everything works except the screen.
What can I do to fix this? I am trying rice... but how long will it take before I can expect results? Help please!

You would have to wait 24 hrs to see results but if it got wet a long time ago and you didn't notice then the phone is damaged and there is nothing you can do. You can wait for your upgrade, use an older AT&T phone, or buy a GoPhone and use that phone while you wait for your upgrade.
There's not much you can do.
Yeah there's a little sticker in every phone that turns pink or red when it gets wet, and if there's any pink or red on it then your warranty is just void, no ifs ands or buts.
That little sticker may have nothing to do with what's wrong with your phone, but that doesn't matter.
Actually in this case, I'd guess the sticker really does NOT have anything to do with the problem. A lot of these "feature phones" from a year or two back have the old "resistive" type touchscreens on them, and these resistive touchscreens are prone to just stop working after a while.
If that's the case no amount of sitting in rice is going to do anything for it, you just need a new phone. or at least a new touchscreen in that phone. Which, yeah, you can do.
If you get another resistive touchscreen, you should probably be careful to never push on it any harder than you absolutely have to. Apparently excess pressure over time may be what breaks them. Maybe.
