The more I think about it, the more I believe he didnt die. At least not yet. I think right now he is passed out and in a some sort of dream state. Its very plausible that they find him after the all the fighting is done and he is hanging on by a thread with just enough energy to give his last words. I HOPE he will make it because Kakashi is my favorite character in the series.

Also, everyone is saying Naruto will be the one to stop Pein, but I dont think that is true. I think the 8 tails shows up and teams up with Konoha to stop Pein. Once Pein is stopped (Not killed, but forced to retreat), Sasuke will show take down the 8 tails. This is when Naruto will show up for his rematch with Sasuke.
