Hi, I'm currently a high school senior with plans to go to college Fall 2012.
I'm extremely uncomfortable with living in a dorm. I get very homesick and I don't want to live with strangers. So, I'd like to stay at home.
The problem is, there are no really good colleges near where I live. (besides community college)
Plus, I'm an only child that grew up very close to my parents and extended family. Very few of my relatives went to college far away. They remained mostly in the same area, even if they had to drive a bit more. I don't want to have to travel a long distance daily, so I've decided upon online college.
I just want to know, what's it like to be an 18-22 year old taking college classes online. I realize that usually, working adults that are in their 20s, 30s, and above go to online college more frequently.
I'm applying to Regent because I believe in a Christian education.

The Online Colleges are built for open learning and distant education.
They are made for the purpose which also best fits in for you also.
Not only graduation but people also do postgraduate courses online.
So I would say go ahead as it will also open new routes for you, will also give you more time for life and moreover you can also look for job or part-time job too.
