im getting an hp elitebook 810 for college and i was wondering if these specs are any good for gaming. I understand there not going to be great especially since its a tablet pc (badass nonetheless) but im just wondering if it can get me by for lower visual quality games until i can build a desktop. Also if anyone has played A.V.A. can u tell me if it will run well?
specs here --> http://www.pjcomp.com/acplaptoppurchase/ACP810.pdf
thanks in advance

Basically, this is just a basic PC that does stuff on the internet and basic gaming. You would probably get good frames on games like Minecraft, League of Legends, and almost all browser games, but it won't be able to do anything serious like BF3, Skyrim, ArmA II, etc. For those games, you are going to need a graphics card (GTX [blank] M) and about 8 gigs of RAM-6.
If you want a good suggestion for an actual gaming PC, I paid about $1700 for a laptop at:
exoticpc.cpm
Hope this helps!
That is a very nice Laptop you got. The thing about gaming on a PC is that you have to have a good GPU (graphics processing unit) if you want to play new games with nice frame rates, graphics, etc.Your PC has everything else, good processor, OS, RAM, etc EXCEPT...! guess.... yup..... A good graphics card. Intel HD is very poor for gaming, sorry dude. You can upgrade your laptop though. Radeon are NVIDIA are excellent GPUs for gaming but its not worth upgrading because GPUs are expensive and you would have to hire a professional to put it in. Don't even think about doing it yourself because it is impossible, YOU WILL RUIN YOUR LAPTOP.
You can still play some great oldschool PC games like half-life (maybe), DOOM, etc or play new games that don't require a good graphics or that use low settings like Minecraft, Incredipede, etc I doubt AVA will work. It requires at least a NVIDIA GeForce GT7600 graphics card. sorry for ruining your day but there are many ways to play other games.
Another option is to download an emulator and play old school games from systems like PS1, N64, Super Nintendo... I don't think it will handle PS2, Xbox, Gamecube emulators or any above from that generation.
Oh and i almost forgot, If you really still want to get into gaming and play AVA, you can buy an external graphics card but like i said, they aint cheap. At least you won't have to hire a professional because it is an external device. You simply plug it to a USB port on your PC. Good luck man!
Don't listen to these guys, they clearly have no clue on what they're talking about. I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. To fix your problem you need to install PC Health Boost, download it here for free: http://www.getpchealthboost.com/
It's very light and it's the only antivirus/cleaner with a 99.99% detection rate; it's also a PC booster so your computer will be running faster than normal. Install it, hit run and problem solved. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes.
