The manual for my guitar pedal says to use a 9.6V 200ma source, but later it says to use a 9V 100ma source. What's the difference?Currently I'm running off a 6V 300mA source. Will that ruin the pedal or downgrade performance?. Created by n/a n. consumer-electronics-mx - other-electronics-mx

I'm guessing the 9V source is your battery and 9.6V is your transformer that you plug into the wall. Yes, 6V will not give you the most from your pedal.
