I have a problem with my Win 7 x64 SP1 pc.
I've uninstalled the Office with the Revo Uninstaller and then it becamess very unstable.
I've tryed to do go back to a restore point, but I get errors and I don't have a backup.
The problems I have are:
1. The Windows explorer don't work. It says: Explorer.exe There is not enough memory to run this program
2. The Control Panel don't work. The same error
3. The sfc /scannow command returns "Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service"
4. If I try tu remove the SP1 wuth command line wusa.exe /uninstall /kb:976932 I get Installer encountered an error: 0x8000ffff. Catastrophic failure
5. I cannot repair from the boot DVD because it says I must restart in Windows and run from the DVD again and this get me another error
Thanks a lot, Ariel
Update:I know I can do a fresh installation, but I prefer to maintain this installation because I have a lot of development tools installed

Sorry to hear that but I think you need to reinstall OS from scratch.
I think you are going to have to do a clean installl the fact your trying to un install sp1 gives it away. Dont install office because that is another validation you can do without. You will need to reformat the whole disk like this.
From your BIOS select to boot the Windows DVD without UEFI, go to the repair options, select command prompt and then enter this:
diskpart
list disk
select disk 0
clean
convert mbr
create partition primary
select partition 1
format fs=ntfs quick
Boot the Windows DVD the same way you did the first time and then continue with the installation of Windows.
If SP1 fails to place in, there ought to have been an errors given and a link to the answer. I had this ensue two times and the strategies presented labored and that i became into then waiting to place in SP1 with out any extra desirable situation. you do no longer prefer the disk with a view to make this restore and proceed with the improve to SP1.
