I'm a national of the Republic of Georgia.
I had applied for a Schengen Visa at the Latvian Embassy and specified Sweden as the State of Entry.
However, I recently discovered that the city I'm going to in Sweden is much closer if I take a ferry from Copenhagen.
My question: Will I have problems if I fly to Denmark instead of Sweden? I'm sure they don't stamp the State of Entry into my passport, but maybe I will have problems at the border on my arrival to Denmark?

In general you should stick to the itinerary as it has been provided with the visa application, since you have declared that all your documents to include the flight reservation are genuine and you have been advised that the use of falsified documents may lead to the annulment of your visa.
However, travel plans may change or connections may not be available based on strikes or adverse weather conditions. You will not have any problems if you arrive in Denmark if you can show your intends to travel on to Sweden and the Schengen visa issued by the Latvian Embassy in Tbilisi on behalf of Sweden shows "valid for Schengen States" [ Šengenas valstis or Schengenstater ] in the first column.
Gerdp is right. A schengen visa allows entry to all schengen states but do carry documentation to proove that your declared main destination still remains the same.
