I have been watching M.S in this off season and he knows his stuff on bikes like he did in cars. VERY impresive.
On Nori Hags's Yamaha : http://www.superbikeplanet.com/image/2008/wsbk/por...

I thought he would suck but annoyingly he seems to be good on bikes as well, still if it keeps him out of the Ferrari pits then I'm happy.
At least he will not be able to knock others off on a bike as easily or get team mate assistance, you might be able to tell, I ain't a fan of his.
Im not an F1 fan, but I may owe an appology to Sunny_Babe_.
Michael has gone quiet about the 09 season in German SBK.
whether or not it has anything to do with his performance at Oscherleben. I dont know. But that was on a top Honda Bike with Holzhaur racing, and the rumour/fact that he has been offered a ride in the 2010 WSBK with Honda makes me think he will be in the German SBK for 09. Its interesting to note that at Pannoniaring (hungary) although he qualified on pole he decided to run from the back alongside team-mate (at Oscherleben) martin Baur. and finished 3rd behind Martin Baur who won the race. and as you say he has been riding some of the Very top bikes recently. including Stoner's Duc at Mugello. home of some racing car company ? Red I think.
WOW
It would be so cool if he made an appearance in WSB
but personally I don't believe that he'll switch to two tires now after he in retirement. Not that I'm doubting his skills on the track but I don't really see him competing again,in another sport.
Anyway,I hope that I am wrong.Nothing in the world could make me miss a start with Schumi on board:-)
*EDIT*
I want to thank proc for informing me that Michael will take part in the German superbikes starts in 2009.I am very surprised with his decision, but he's the legend and he knows best. After he has decided to switch to motorbikes then why not compete in WSBS?The odds are with him.
i saw that he tested Casey Stoners 2007 Ducati and commented that he saw why Casey won his championship and if i recalled he did a competitive lap time though i can't remember which track it was
he shud either concentrate on driving formula 1 car or motogp
That would be cool to watch
It would me COOLER if he did MotoGP, so I could watch him do it
I think he'll do fine.
