some states have higher sources of income and therefore more revenues to contribute to the education system. education is funded mostly from state and local sources so if local sources are dry, there is nothing that can really be done... higher revenue areas for some reason find it impossible to share with lower income areas. if education was funded completely from the federal level, things could possibly be different. shucks... if the government can shell out 700 billion bucks to help wall street, surely they can spare some change for education ... but you can see where their priorities are
Laws need to change to make all states equal with quality education,
