Ok, I'm getting sick and tired of this really. This rumor seems to be getting stronger. But I still doubt it that he would come back. Drive with Mercedes? Unthinkable! Drive a whole season at the age of 41? What's with Michael? Is he trying to kill himself?

No way. Bernie is the one that is keeping these rumors alive. They kinda went round for a while, people were talking about it. Then Bernie comes along and says, oh yea watch out for an announcement in the next few days.
There is no way he would. Really the only professional driving he has done in the past year alone is mainly the testing and the Race of Champions.
Even Shumi couldn't do a whole F1 season without any kinda of professional racing for the past year. Can you imagine the strains that his body would go through in just the 1st race?
I do not believe a word that he would drive for Mercedes GP.
After what I've been watching over the past few days saying Michael would try to kill himself is kind of unsettling. Just that he was behind Senna when he crashed in 1994 and I've been watching it a few times too many. Not cause I'm a sicko, but cause I've been doing video presentations.
But moving on if he were to join Mercedes GP it could just be in a team crew role, like the one he has at Ferrari. But its the little dwarf that is adding fuel to this fire.
The old dog just wont lie down eh ?
Oh well, I guess it will be another year of crashing into rivals and not using the traction control that is in his car but not switched on, `honest mate`.
If he does come back and drives for Merecedes, what are the odds that the deal was done before Button signed for McLaren ?
Edit: Brawn, Mercedes GP and the Schumacher `camp` are keeping the rumours going.

@ Dustin - Schhh is 50 times fitter than most drivers in NASCAR, but he would still find a return difficult. He would need to be back at the gym and lose some of the extra pounds and gain his previous stamina levels.
Most NASCAR drivers would last about 20 laps before parking.
It could be done, but it won't. It's called hype....

well first off 41 is not old you obviously don't watch nascar because there is a 50 year old guy by the name of Mark Martin who is still out there winning races and contend for a championship so no michael is not to old to race and for him racing for Cercedes i'm not for sure what he is going to do i would like to see him come back and and show them young lads a thing or two about racing and show the media that he stills got it so i hope he does come back and get him another race win if not multiple and another world championship under his belt
I agree it might be hard for someone at his age to drive a whole year but i believe he is still better then 85 % of the current F1 drivers.
Believe it when I see it!
