This is the question. Servers make like 3.00 an hour + tips which normally works out to be above minimum wage. So, in the event that you do NOT make minimum on a particular day, can the employer use your WEEKLY tips for the average or should that be done DAILY???
There was this day where I made six dollars an hour, and they told me that it went on a WEEKLY average??? Is that legal???

Yes, that is leagl. The only requirement is that your employer must reconcile your tips and wages to at least the minimum wage over each pay period.
