silver + nitric acid --> hydrogen gas + NO gas + silver nitrite + water?
can some one turn this into a chemical equation with SATP in the answer? this questions killing me and its chem homework
Update:Sorry not SATP but I need the states of matter for each reactant and product

do you mean STP? what is SATP?
I had to do it be redox balancing:
Ag + HNO3 --> H2 + NO + AgNO3 + H2O
Ag --> Ag+ + 1e-
NO3- + 4H+ +3e- --> NO + 2H2O
H+ + 2e- --> H2
5Ag --> 5Ag+ + 5e-
NO3- + 4H+ + 3e- --> NO + 2H2O
H+ + 2e- --> H2
5Ag + 6HNO3 --> 5AgNO3 + NO + 2H2O + H2
