well ive had a lump underneath the skin in my armpit for about a year now its really small and hard it doesnt hurt at all unless i **** around with it to much i went to two different doctors and they barely made an effort at all in checking it they just said its a zit which makes no sense ive had it for a long time its to hurt to pop and its underneath my skin i dont know what to do every time i go to a doctor they barely check it at all and its getting to the point of me not bothering to go to a doctor anymore i feel fine im not sick ever but i do lose weight alot fast sometimes i lost 3 pounds in like a day some how what do you think that it could be and how can i get a doctor to actually make an effort to find out what it is for me
Update:its not swollen its not noticeable and i don't think it has anything to do with my lymph nodes ill try to go more in detail about it its about the size of a pea it does hurt if i play around with it it located at the very top of my armpit i can somewhat move it around but it feels like its attached kinda feel like a pebble i just noticed it randomly after shaving i have no other lumps besides my testes which turned out to be cysts

Hi! a pain less lump, if not increasing in size can be considered benign, these lumps are due to enlargement of axillary lymph nodes ,i.e. the area ,you mentioned, it can be due to any local skin infection as well, for your satisfaction the reqd . investigation is a mammo gram to rule out any other
suspicious element.Take care, wish you all the best.
the fact that you said it was hard and painless, and that you have been losing a lot of weight makes it sound like you could possibly have lymphoma. find another doctor and tell them about that, and how you think it could be cancer. i understand how doctors can be useless sometimes, you basically have to tell them what you want. weight loss was the only symptom i had when i had lymphoma.
good luck
My mother had the same problem and it was a ingrown hair deep down
