The last day to sign up for classes for freshmen is today and I still can't decide between some classes. The AP/honors classes I'm taking as a sophomore are currently:
Chamber Orchestra Honors
Trig/Math Analysis Honors
World History AP
Chemistry Honors
English Language AP
I'm having issues with English Language AP. I'm a bit worried I can't keep up with the work, but at the same time I want to improve my writing. I heard from people who took the class that taking it really helps your SAT and such. Chamber and WHAP I'm pretty sure I can take. Chem H and Trig are ehh. I'm planning to do a Chem course over the summer to make the class a bit easier. And Trig H is also something I hope to take.
Major dilemma =.=

First off: Are you a sophomore or freshman right now? Your question says that you're scheduling for next year (sophomore year), and you say that the last day for freshman to sign up is today, which leads me to believe that you're a freshman. However, you then go on and state the classes you are currently "taking as a sophomore".
WHAP is actually a pretty grueling class at my school... Like all AP Histories, it requires lots of reading/writing/memorization. It can be pretty stressful and time consuming. I would recommend AP Lang. ONLY if you're going to be a junior next year. AP Lang. is a class for juniors and AP Lit. is for seniors. (I haven't heard of a school that doesn't follow that <<<.). If you're a current freshman, stick with H. English next year obviously. I personally hate H. Chemistry. It's a pretty challenging course. I would recommend it if you are looking into a STEM career, since it really isn't going to help you otherwise.
What math are you taking right now? The sequence for math goes: Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, AFM (if you did bad in Alg. II)/ Pre-Calc (if you did good). If you take AFM, you go to AP Stat. If you do Pre-Calc, you go to AP Calculus and/or AP Stat. Trig is a part of Pre-Calc (though your school my have renamed Pre-Calc into Trig. Otherwise, I would follow the sequence.
Looks good otherwise.
i'm in an identical situation. I chosen to take standard historic past, because of the fact i had to have adequate time for each little thing else (in my college, AP historic past skill an extra 3-4 papers a months to place in writing) you would be large, colleges might lots choose an A in a typical class then a B in an AP class. do no longer overwork your self, do basically adequate to challenge your self, and you'd be large! Have a large Junior 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, i understand i will!
