Most older Nissans have a fuel pump cutoff switch. The wires go back to the fuel tank, and can be disconnected. We had to do this to the old 280's and Skylines in Japan. It would stop the fuel pump at about 160kph or so.
Sorry, I can't remember which wires, and what color..I'm getting old.

Yes. Top speed limit is programmed into the computer.
yes it does, and to get aread of it you have to remove a wire from the fuel pump. or you can go and get a diff. comp chip
