Every once and a while a box appears on my TV with random text.

Once it was (.) (.) and 8=========D (don't flag or anything thats what it said.)

Ok. Here's what you do:

Change your CC to "Off"

Set the Sleep mode to 10 minutes

Change input from Cable to Antenna

Unplug your stereo

Unplug your DVD Player, then your TV (IN THAT ORDER, VERY IMPORTANT!!!)

Remove all other cables from your TV.

Get a lawn chair, set it on your driveway

Take your TV to the curb

Put on some thick rubber gloves

Place your tinfoil hat on your head

Smash the TV With a sledgehammer

Stand on the chair and yell "YOU'LL NEVER TAKE MY MIND WITHOUT A FIGHT!!!!" Repeatedly.

Resist arrest.

it is your closed captioning. some stations and a few shows are quite good approximately typing each observe others are no longer. some shows i've got considered will in elementary terms type one incomplete sentence for the entire instruct. My dad's television would instruct a huge black container that would desire to conceal a million/2 of the show screen, no words in it. He grew to become the captioning off completely and it solved the priority.

You hit one of the options for your closed captions txt1, txt2 etc. The captions option is used for the hard of hearing/deaf. You use CC or TXT depending on the station broadcasting the show. Go to your menu and change the closed captions option to off.
