“Margin or Market Share?” The primary goal of the firm is to provide returns to shareholders. Margin, is about “what you [and the shareholders] get to keep” and is thus is a good indicator of the firm’s ability to fulfill it primary goal.
Explain with reference to theory when (and why) these are not mutually exclusive, but closely correlated.

Margin and Market Share are the most important in any business since profitability is what keep the company going and growing and Market Share is a reflection of the populairty of the company product/service compared to its competitors.
