i was going to purchase a subwoofer but there is a huge wattage gap between the 2 and i wasnt sure how much this matteredthe rockford fosgate runs on a max of 600 where the dual runs on 1100i wasnt sure what sounds better but i know rockford fosgate makes good subs but an answer to this would majorly help with my purchase, thanks. Rockfprd Fosgate makes a better product all the way around, Properly installed in a proper enclosure will sound better than a Dual anything. At the same time, since most of Duals products are not CEA compliant, I doubt that it can take an actuall 1100w. I would run the Rockford Fosgate between its rms and max rating, custom build a vented enclousure to specs so that I could get the most out of the subwoofer.
