teaching in Australia?
hi there I'm a newly qualified teacher in Wales. i really would like to move to Australia for a few years to teach. My partner is in the same situation only he is teaching until July this year. Any information anyone could tell me about how to find a teaching job in Australia and how to go about applying interview and so on. We both would like to go but could afford to without knowing we have jobs there ready for us. any info would be appreciated 100%
should have mentioned we are both primary school teachers i specialised with ages 3-7 and he specialised from 7-11

The Australian government has pretty strict rules about immigration and work visas. For a while, at least, they were encouraging people with technical skills to move to Australia, but my guess would be that they have enough teachers. Look at the Australian government website to see what it says about emigrating there. It may be easier for UK citizens- but the person I knew who was trying to move there was Canadian, and she had to jump through a lot of hoops.
