i'm currently attending UTSA as a biology major and have been thinking about transferring out somewhere else... possibly Southwestern University [Georgetown, TX], Texas A&M University, or University of Texas. I'm thinking about out of state- George Washington University, University of Florida, & University of Colorado. i'm planning on either pre-professional or graduates in biosciences...
background:
i had a rough start in my freshman year withdrawing mid semester in the spring because i got very sick.
i have one F in an architecture class [after research- i found that it will not transfer to any universities i would possibly apply to--- should i still retake it?]
i had 2 D's of which i received a B in both after retaking...
i should have about a 2.8 after the summer grades roll in later this month. i will have been in school 2 full years- going on my third... i have about 40 credits toward my biology major- a few more that i pretty much wasted my money on...
should i transfer universities?... should i wait till next fall to apply? ... should i retake the architecture class i failed even if it won't transfer?... is it worth it to transfer to any of these universities??
thanks for the help!
ohh- i was also an early highschool graduate- i work 2 jobs and volunteer at a hospital, nursing home, and various political/ activist rallys

Yeah, you are not going to get into any of those schools with that GPA. You just need to buckle down and work hard to raise that GPA then maybe you will have a chance.
