I am ready to start a program for ultrasound technology. The only problem is that I cannot find a school in my area that has this program. Does anyone know of anywhere? I live in Gardner, KS...about 25 miles southwest of Kansas City. Thanks!

Since I don't know exactly where you are, I listed schools in nearby states also. Some schools require you to be a registered radiologic technologist first, and the University of Kansas is one of them. You can find schools for that here (choose Radiography): http://arrt.org/index.html?content=http://www.arrt...

in case you have no longer got here upon a occupation in this field i think of it's time to look someplace else and consider out some thing diverse. this is been 5 years and in case you nonetheless have not had a activity interior the sphere, then you definately are the two doing some thing incorrect or no longer possibly staring in any respect. try some thing else. i do no longer recommend you doing this methodology returned with the aid of fact heck you graduated with a 4.0 GPA! or maybe i won't be able to try this, yet the two way, notwithstanding you do, i'm hoping you relish it! =)
I would imagine that KU would have such a program. Have you checked with the major hospitals in Kansas City to see where their technicians trained? Good luck.
