There's this girl on facebook that goes by ( Lulu Perkins ) , and she is getting out of control. She has caused so much mess it is ridiculous. Long story short. We know that its someone at our school. Because she knows EVERYBODYS business but the pic. that she got as her profile pic isn't really her. and the name that she is going by is a fake facebook page. She's been putting out everybodys business out on facebook. example. "Suzie is a hoe she messed with Bob, Tom, and Jack" or "Sally lost her virginity2weeks ago and every since then she cant keep her legs closed." Things like that, and so far she haves talked about 57 people in our school. and only 2 of them are in the 8th grade. She talks about 4 new people every day. And she'll go on your wall on facebook and tell you when your next. and the next day You and 3 other people will be the next topic. So everyone here at HHS is so confused. We don't know if " Lulu Perkins" is the person that's sitting beside us or the person that's across from us. All we know is that she is in the HHS. because she knows everything that goes on. and because of that reason , everyone is pointing fingers thinking that Innocent people is this " Lulu Perkins." and, people is now wanting to fight because of the things that are being said. And I've heard a couple of times that it is me and my friends. But its NOT and I don't want to get suspended over something that i know is not true. If i get suspended from school i lose my credits. So my question is. What should we do? Is this considered as Cyber Bullying? Can that person get in trouble for this? And is there any way that we can find out who this " Lulu Perkins" really is? Because its about to be A WHOLE LOT of Innocent people fighting because of this mess. and im ready to put a STOP to it, before i lose my credits over this facebook clown.!!!

Social websites like Facebook have made it possible for people all over the world to connect and stay in touch easily. However, kids bullying other kids on Facebook has become a problem. It's not as easy to protect your children as it once was, but there are safeguards you can use to protect your children from bullying on Facebook.
Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
1
Create a Facebook account for yourself. If you want to protect your child on Facebook, you must be on the site yourself.
2
Require your child to be your Facebook friend. This allows you to see all activity on her page. You can see who she is friends with and the types of comments are being left for her. This will nip a lot of bullying on Facebook right away. Kids are generally smart enough not to leave comments that parents are going to read.
3
Insist on knowing your child's password for Facebook and make sure he understands that you will use it to sign into his account on occasion. This is necessary to check for bullying by private message. While most activity on Facebook is viewable by all your friends, private messages are not.
4
Search for bullying groups on Facebook. Type in "groups" in the search box at the top of the Facebook homepage. That takes you to the Groups homepage. From there you can search the groups for your child's full name. It has become a trend on Facebook for kids to set up "I Hate So-and-So" groups that are used to bully a child.
5
Immediately report any groups or messages that appear to be bullying your child on Facebook. Click on the group name and then scroll down to the bottom of the screen. Click on the "Report Group" icon.
6
Report a single person's bad behavior by clicking on "Report This Person" on that person's profile screen. Since you must be friends to see the person's profile page, you must be signed into your child's account to do this. But don't worry; the reporting is done anonymously, and no one will ever know your child was the one to report bad behavior.

I would go talk to the school policeman and talk to him about tracking the user's IP address. It is traceable. If its from within the school, then the IT guys should be able to track down what log-in this "Lulu Perkins" is using. And yes, it is cyber bullying. Posting about another person's personal business online for the public to see is completely inappropriate.
So, you desire to document him yet do no longer desire to be a "snitch"? you could no longer have it the two techniques. guy up and end taking the path that criminals do by refusing to testify. while you're quite waiting to end being a sufferer, then document him on your college imperative and if it escalates to a police learn, be arranged to furnish a assertion and testify in courtroom if it ever gets to that degree. Bullies count on their intimidation techniques to hold onto their "potential" over the meek. in case you prepare which you is merely no longer bullied and intimidated any further, then he loses his potential over you. A quote attributed to Edmund Burke, a British statesman and actuality seeker: "All it quite is needed for evil to triumph is for stable human beings to do no longer something".
