Underweight girls in anime?
I recently watched a show called Mnemosyne. All of the girls were really skinny and bony, especially the main character Rin.
Are there other female characters in anime that are purposefully depicted to be so skinny that their ribs are drawn clearly visible?

not usually, but most anime girls are made to look as good as possible, big boobs are common
but usually they don't draw in noticable ribs pr over skinny-ness unless the character is starving
yes. but not skinny as that? well, the one i watch before usually are skinny but not skinny skinny.
