For a period of time a few years ago, I had what I think you're going through. Involuntary twitching under my left eye. It wasn't painful, didn't affect my vision or anything, but was just weird.
Someone told me that stress can cause things like that. I think that was true in my case, as I was in a pretty stressful work environment back then. Once I left that job, I never noticed it happening again.

Possibly a "tic" could be from stress, too much caffeine, eye strain, etc. Try a warm compress on it a couple times of day.

I get the same thing every once and a while.
It usually goes away after a few minutes, and it's very infrequent.
If it hurts, or begins to be a non-stop thing, I would see a doctor.
If not, it's probably normal, and very possibly stress related.
