Yeah, First, Sorry for my bad English.. ... :(
About a week ago, i had upgrade my VGA from NVidia to Ati-Radeon 9550 . .
After I upgrade into Ati Radeon-9550, i can't play dotA . When i tried to open it, it said
"Warcraft III was unable to initialize direct X, please ensure you have DirectX 8.1 or newer installed that your display driver are current. Direct X may be found on your Warcraft III installed CD"
Then, today, i installed Warcraft III again.. When I tried to open it again, it still say unable to initialize direct X ..... :(
Hmm, however, i have DIRECTX 9.0c
then i tried to search it on internet, almost 90% person say "open dxdiag, then display tab, and disable and enable again the direct3D "
but, i tried to disable it, but the disable tab unclickable ( can't be click ) ..its color is black ..=="
What Should i Do? i have installed the new one..But it still say like that...(grr.....) Please help me

when i try to install directx 9.0b , it doesn't effect, it still 9.0c =="

yea, id say re-install direct X

dont remember what i did though.
when you say 'tried open it'
by 'it' do you mean warcraft3? or creating a custom game in LAN or singleplayer
if you cant even start warcraft, i would suggest re-installing warcraft
your direct x is probably messed up, or your computer probably cannot support the massive size of warcraft 3 anymore (apporixametly 700mb) i suggest either reinstalling it after installing most up-to-date directx or like asking bestbuy for help
why dont you try uninstalling the directX first then installing the 9.0c :D dota battlenet user? hope this helps
