ive had a headache for about a week now. it comes and goes and is sometimes more intense than others. before i had the headache i was battling a flu and i am not exactly when i got over it. it doesnt not feel like a sinus headache. i feel it on the top of my head near my bald spot.
ive asked people what could it be and ive gotten migraine, stress related, sign of a stroke.
i dont think its a migraine because it doesnt throb (but its throbbing right now and its the first time it hurt this bad). my co-worker said when he had a week long headache and his neck hurt and swelled up he had a stroke. i figured it was stress related but ive been off from work for 3 days now and it hasnt hurt as bad as it hurts right now.
any ideas??? im a 20 year old guy and i work graveyard shift as assistant manager. and i always get at least 7 hours of sleep, drink 4-8 cups of water everyday.

Just to put things into perspective, I've had headaches last up to four months... But then I have severe chronic migraines, and I know for sure that's all the headaches are.
It could be something serious like a tumor growing in your brain. It is not very LIKELY, but it is possible. Go see a doctor.
That said, it is probably just the kind of headache that goes along with the flu.
It could be a stress-induced headache, and just taking time off work isn't likely to make it go away. Meditation, spending your time quietly, reading, things that deliberately relax your body, especially your muscles, will make a stress headache go away. That, and OTC painkillers. Have you tried tylenol, Ibuprofin, aspirin?
Whats the weather like ??? is it cold ?? are you running your furnace ???
Could be carbon monoxide.
Call the gas company and have then come in and check it out.
Hurry
If this is the case it could bring your life to an end.
Hope this helped
